Review by hotel critic
During my recent city break at Hotel Eden in Sirmione, I was thoroughly enchanted by the breathtaking views of Lake Garda right from my room. The hotel's prime location near the ancient citadel and Scaligero Castle provided easy access to cultural excursions, perfect for a history enthusiast like myself. The breakfast was a particular highlight, served on a terrace overlooking the lake, with a delightful selection of options that set us up for each day of exploration. What truly stood out was the warmth of the waiting staff; they seemed genuinely invested in my experience, which made the stay all the more enjoyable. While the reception staff could have been more welcoming, it didn't overshadow the incredible atmosphere created by the rest of the team. Having access to cozy loungers by the lake was ideal for downtime between my historical jaunts. Sirmione itself is a beautiful blend of history and landscape-an escape that captures the essence of Italy's rich past, with its Roman ruins and charming streets. I can't wait to return, as Hotel Eden will undoubtedly be my first choice for future visits!
